Located at the top left of the Recipe Creator you will find the Style button. Clicking the Style button allows you to select the style of beer your recipe is from the current BJCP style categories.
To start click on the down arrow to the right of the Recipe Style box to display the BJCP recipe styles menu. You can then scroll through the list and select the style of beer for this recipe or start typing and the menu will scroll accordingly. For this example we are going to be brewing an American Stout so we will select that BJCP style from the menu.
After selecting the beer style the Category, Style Guide, Category Number, Category Letter, Recipe Type as well as the Style Profile (which is a basic description of the selected beer style) will all be filled in for you.
Additionally in the Style section you can type in any recipe notes and final tasting notes.
